Which team do you want defending our planet, the Avengers or Justice League? I would have to say justice league coz superman the leader and well there kick the hell out of the avenger
The avengers have the infinite mansion so they can travel everywhere and get kryptonite. It would kick off Superman. The avengers have honorifical memores all over the world, so they aren’t limited to defend just América.
I have to agree. The Pantheon of DC characters who belong to the Justice League all seem pretty godlike. Not to mention that the list is pretty extensive, compared to the handfull of Avengers.

Superman can easily be beaten, hence super villians always turn to kryptonite.
Ironman can easily integrate his armor with a crystal of kryptonite. possible counter argument ” How would he know superman’s weakness.” Answer: “Superman has made himself the eye of the new’s, at times appearing in camera’s and video and exposing himself to the world.”
If iron man was the knowledgeable/adaptive man who created a Arc Reactor and save many lives with his infinite suits which were design after knowing the capabilities of his opponent. i could go on how iron man can take him, but would rather move on to others.
Like hulk, which would find the impeccable strength of superman a challenge to his dominant mentality that he is the strongest, which has been displayed over and over. Counter: ” superman could easily freeze, or outrun/outmaneuver hulk.” Answer: ” even if fully frozen, the muscle mass of the hulking beast will surely create cracks inside of the ice, if layered the same result. Furthermore as for the outrun/outmaneuvering him, well we all seen how hulk can cause earthquake,or hurtle large piece of landmass at opponents.In theory if superman were to use his speed + strength against hulk, it would work, until hulk got angry, in theory making him jump then land with such force which cause a tsunami of landmass to unbalance the man of steel while charging at him, leaving a exposed moment for hulk to take advantage of.
As for other justice league members such as the green lantern and the flash, these are too complex to even talk about, determining what superhero is fast enough to challenge the flash besides hulk and thor.
As for the green lantern, his abilities are determined by his will, so if they were to diminish his will, his abilities would weaken.
Furthermore other clashes like superman & batman, these are interesting as you both discussed. I would say due to batman’s investigation capabilities, and tech, he could in sense prove a challenge.Although we have spiderman’s spider senses which provide a pest for his opponent, if spider man were to web up his gadgets before he could use them, it would be a lot easier to defeat him.

Ok, the Hulk is a beast who is motivated by his anger and his drive to be the strongest. The more resistance that is put on him the more he is able to fight back. But what would happen if he is suspended in a vacuum not able to make contact with the ground or anything around him? Hulk clap? Sound doesn’t travel in a vacuum and there is no air to push around. With that said you dont need brute strength to beat the green meany, you can just use someone like the Green Lantern.
Yeah we can say Iron Man is extremely adaptible and upgrades his suits to any foe he may face, but the upgrades usually come after he’s been stomped around a bit. Its not like Superman has never faced a technological genius. You can almost compare Lex Luther to Tony Stark. Lex even has his own battle suit, but how often does he win?
Your under estimating Momentum & velocity which in term equal force, sound is produced when the force itself hits objects/matter, if you’ve read hulks claps are powerful than the fiercest hurricane in history.
Also don’t embarrass green lantern, by pitting him against hulk. The mere objects that are created can’t hold back a slam from a gamma shock wave.
you’ve got a point, although his intelligence greatly over comes superman’s; He would for one prepare the suit in advance or use the same suit he used to match Hulk’s strength. also just to rub it in, batman did beat superman up with Kryptonite Gloves that one time. :p
In Response to JLA vs Avengers, Superman’s only competition would be the Hulk. The madder he gets the stronger he gets would end the battle no matter what. Superman has to have an upper limit. The Hulk not so much.

It is very tempting to say The Justice League because they are such a pantheon of gods… and then there’s Batman. The Justice League could easily solve any problem on Earth. Hands down. No question.
However, I have to give it up to The Avengers because of how human and relatable they all are. I’ve always loved that about The Avengers. As superhuman as they are, it is as though they are just like us. For that reason, I’d be all about the Avengers being our heroes over The Justice League. Even though we’d likely meet our doom under their care.
Tony Stark would have probably have done his homework on his opponents and found weaknesses. so Ironman’s greatest competition would be The Batman. Batman would be the wild card in this conflict because he is the only man that i could absolutely guarantee that he would have found a weakness for every combatant in the conflict. Only if batman is not involved, the Avengers take it all the way but if the bats brings the right toys to the battlefield the whole thing could change.
Superman and Hulk can pound on each other all week but that will not lead to a victory because its a stalemate. Their battle would go on until an outside force ended it. So that means that this battle would come down to brains instead of brawn. The A’s have Stark and possibly Spiderman (including new A’s) but Batman is the ultimate planner. He took down Superman, he could definitely take down the hulk.

Actually, Indie drank from the immortality goblet in the last crussade, so he is young now and Han Solo is quite old, or dead.
Whatever, i’d support han solo because he is an experienced mercenary, so he could probably defeat Indie in a disarmed fair fight.

I think nowadays peter married MJ because gwen is a little nerd and a great power comes with a great image (sad truth) MJ is red-haired.
